Longevity Gap Widens -- Class, Race, Gender key Issues

Check out this important article from the New York Times about a recent study about the widening longevity gap. Researchers used a measure of socio-economic status (aka class) to compare longevity for the most affluent and most deprived. Notably, the gap between the richest white women and the poorest black men has widened to 14 years.

Also, note the list of reasons that are speculated for the widening gap.
